Google has baked some very useful accessibility features into the Android operating system over the years, and one of the most recent is “Voice Access.” That feature was supercharged with the debut of Android 11, and now those additional features are being brought to older Android versions.

In the past couple of years, Google has made a push for improving accessibility on Android with tools such as Sound Amplifier, Live Caption, and others. One of those tools, Voice Access, is also getting a huge upgrade to go along with Android 11 which enables it to understand what’s on your display.
Voice Access is now out of beta with the accessibility service allowing you to control your Android device without touching the display. Available on the Google Play Store, it should give millions around the globe the ability to get more from their smart devices.
