Motorola announces Android 11 plans for over 20 phones, for most their only update

At one time Motorola was as good as it got for Android updates, at times beating even Google’s own phones to the punch. That was back when Nexus phones were a thing, though, and a whole lot has changed in the years since. Now, Motorola is among the worst Android OEMs when it comes to updates, and the company’s Android 11 plans… well, they’re not helping that.

Motorola Razr will reportedly get a sequel w/ upgraded specs, September launch

Foldable smartphones made their debut in 2019, with 2020 seeing the first year of refinement on the form factor. Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip learned a lot from the Galaxy Fold that came before it and, now, it looks like the Motorola Razr will be getting a sequel — perhaps the Motorola Razr 2 — that upgrades the specs and could be announced last this year.

iFixit: Motorola Razr is a ‘complex’ phone that’s almost impossible to repair [Video]

A lot of people had high hopes for the Motorola Razr, but those quickly fell apart when its durability was questioned and reviews were… not good. Today, iFixit has given the Motorola Razr a teardown and, unsurprisingly, they’ve come to the conclusion it’s extremely difficult to repair, even saying it’s “one of the most complex phones ever.”
