Qualcomm has today announced its latest fingerprint sensor, the 3D Sonic Max. This fingerprint sensor is the followup to last year’s 3D Sonic Sensor, and the most important thing that makes it different from last year’s model is that it’s… a lot bigger — 17 times bigger to be exact.

Google has announced that Cloud Print, its cloud-based printing solution, is being retired at the end of next year. It’s an early heads up, yes, but it’s a necessary one — Cloud Print is pretty widely used. Google recommends that users of Cloud Print “identify an alternative solution.” Which, of course they do.
If you’re like me, you’re a serial user of the “Reopen Closed Tab” option in Google Chrome. The initial reviews of Google Stadia are out as of yesterday, and the consensus seems to be that it works pretty well, actually. But that technical accomplishment is overshadowed by the fact that many of the service’s notable feature promises are half-baked, and others just aren’t here yet. This functional Google Stadia beta is only raising concerns about the platform at a time when it already has little room for messaging error.
