The Pixel Watch 2 is set to launch in a week, and the leaks just keep coming. In the latest batch, we’re getting a better look at Fitbit improvements coming to Pixel Watch 2.

As the October 4 launch event approaches, more leaks are detailing Google’s upcoming Pixel 8 series and Pixel Watch 2, with the latest leak including more specs and battery sizes.

Google’s first entry into the smartwatch game, the Pixel Watch, is perhaps the one I’ve loved more than any other smartwatch. A year later, I still love it, but I also have a few things I’d like to see the Pixel Watch 2 improve on.

The leaks keep coming, and after several major Pixel 8 leaks over the weekend and this morning, a new leaked ad for the Pixel Watch 2 is confirming new health features, bands, and more.

Ahead of the Pixel Watch 2’s expected October launch, 9to5Google has learned that Google’s second smartwatch will feature a thermometer and bring improvements to the wearable versions of Fitbit and Personal Safety.

With the Pixel Watch 2, Google is updating and releasing new first-party bands, including metal slim and the metal mesh (again).

Google has confirmed a lot about the Pixel Watch 2 already, but a new report is laying out the watch colors, new band options, and a possible new charging speed boost.

Following the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro yesterday, Google this morning shared a sneak peek of the full Pixel Watch 2 design.

The Pixel Watch 2 was officially announced (partially, at least) by Google today, roughly a month ahead of the launch event where we’ll see the smartwatch sequel fully announced. One early detail about Pixel Watch 2 that’s already come out, though, is that the watch may have higher requirements for its connected Android phone.

While the Pixel 8 Pro has thoroughly leaked, the smaller Pixel 8 hasn’t. We’re now getting the second teaser of the day with a “Sneak Peek at Google Pixel 8 & Pixel 8 Pro” on YouTube and the Google Store showing off the full design.

As the countdown to October 4 continues, Google today shared a “The W8 is Almost Over” tease that shows off the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel Watch 2.

Believe it or not, we’re less than two months away from the launch of Google’s next Pixel products, and a brief leak on the Google Store this week shows off the Pixel 8 Pro as well as what is probably the Pixel Watch 2.

Google’s second smartwatch is around the corner, and this morning the Pixel Watch 2 passed through the Google Play Console, confirming the use of Snapdragon W5 and Wear OS 4.

Ahead of a fall launch alongside the Pixel 8 and 8 Pro, three models of the Pixel Watch 2 have arrived for regulatory certification at the FCC.

Back in May, 9to5Google reported that the Pixel Watch 2 would switch to a Snapdragon chip, get over a day of battery life, and offer Fitbit’s cEDA and skin temperature sensor, while we later revealed the use of aluminum. Additional Pixel Watch 2 specs have leaked, like how Google will use the same size screen.

We’ve reported that Google is set to debut a Pixel Watch 2 this year with a new chip and updated hardware. Now, a new leak is offering a look at new watch faces coming to Google’s smartwatch sequel.

We reported back in May that Google’s next wearable would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon chip and other key specs. 9to5Google can now report that the Pixel Watch 2 will switch to aluminum, while Fitbit is readying “Coach” workouts.

Rumors currently point to Google releasing its second Pixel-branded Wear OS smartwatch this fall, bringing significant internal upgrades. Now, a Google app update reveals an “Eos” code name for Pixel Watch 2 and suggests the design may not change much from last year’s model.
