OnePlus returns to Germany with OnePlus 12, 12R, and Open

After halting sales in 2022, OnePlus is returning to Germany with its latest devices – OnePlus 12, 12R, and the foldable OnePlus Open.

In 2022 both Oppo and OnePlus halted sales of smartphones sold in Germany due to a patent dispute with Nokia. A court ruling at the time found that Oppo was using Nokia’s patented tech in its smartphones. While OnePlus did release its first tablet, the OnePlus Pad, in Germany in 2023, the tablet was also pulled from sale shortly after launch.

Now, though, Oppo has reached a deal with Nokia that allows the company, and its partner brand OnePlus, to bring smartphones back to Germany.

As pointed out by Max Jambor on Twitter/X, OnePlus has already resumed sales of its latest devices in Germany.

The OnePlus 12 and OnePlus 12R are both available for pre-order at €949 and €699, respectively. Meanwhile, the foldable OnePlus Open is also now available for immediate purchase in the country starting at €1,799.
