Google Play Games PC now has 3,000 titles, including Clash of Clans, Xbox and PS5 controller support

Google has updated Play Games for PC, which is still in beta, with controller support and a handful of new features.

Play Games for PC now has over 3,000 titles for Windows 10 and 11 in its catalog, with Google today highlighting Clash of Clans and Clash Royale. (Google also shared today that “Clash of Clans and Clash Royale will roll out to the Play Store on Chromebooks in the coming weeks.”)

To aid with that library surge, Google has introduced a search field to the “All games” page in the top-right corner. (Much like its predecessor, this came way after launch.) It joins the ability to sort by filters, including Action, Adventure, and Arcade.

Meanwhile, select Play Games for PC titles, like Asphalt 9: Legends and BADLAND, can now be played with a console controller. Google says this includes the Xbox S|X, Xbox One, PS5 DualSense, and PS4 DualShock controllers.

Lastly, Play Games supports 4K resolution for games that offer higher-quality graphics. This goes hand-in-hand with the new “option to select from a variety of screen resolutions that suit gameplay needs.” Clicking Shift + Tab will open a menu of supported resolutions in supported titles.
