Google adding images to web search answer cards

Many people use Google’s search engine to get answers to tough questions and in some cases the results produce excerpts from reputable websites. For example, if you search for: “what are flu symptoms?” You’ll pull results from, along with an information card like the one pictured above.

While immediate information is definitely helpful, it appears that Google is still trying to improve this process. The company is starting to add images to its excerpt results, with some answers displaying small photos related to the question being asked. For now this feature appears to be pretty hit or miss, but this new addition could be helpful to people who are visual learners.
