Lenovo debuts its newest $399 tablet running Chrome OS

By Andrew Romero & Ben Schoon

Chromebook tablets have been growing in popularity over the past couple of years, and Lenovo is doubling down.

The company has announced the IdeaPad Duet 3. This tablet adopts the 11-inch form factor of the original IdeaPad Duet but merges the design and spec sheet to align with the Chromebook Duet 5.

This Chromebook will run a Snapdragon 7c Gen 2 processor from Qualcomm. It will also pack a 2000x1200 with thinner bezels than the older model.

The spec sheet is rounded out with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM; 64GB, 128GB, or 256GB of storage.

In the box comes a nice folio case with a kickstand. On top of that, the tablet is stylus-compatible, though that's a separate purchase.

While the Chromebook Duet 5 was $469, the new IdeaPad Duet 3 will be priced at $399. It will come in two different colors as well: "Misty Blue" and "Stormy Gray."

The IdeaPad Duet 3 will be coming in the Spring of 2022. You can find more details on 9to5Google.com.
