That said, the addition of 4K 60FPS video recording via the latest software beta is yet another massive improvement on a truly beastly budget handset.

The Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is getting 960FPS slo-mo, 4K 60FPS video recording, and Night mode photo mode later next month

There is so much to love about the Pocophone F1, it’s a superb budget smartphone that is only really let down (at least in the US) by a lack of carrier support. The price point makes it such an amazing package, and it seems it will get even more enticing. That will be thanks to the addition of Night mode for photos, 960FPS slow-mo, and 4K 60FPS video recording, all of which are heading to the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 over the next couple of months.

Xiaomi puts Pocophone F1 officially up for sale on Amazon UK

Ahead of the official UK launch event tomorrow, Xiaomi has made their offshoot enthusiast device — the Pocophone F1 — officially available for purchase on Amazon UK. Whilst this might not seem like a big deal, with Xiaomi hosting a US taster event on December 8th, maybe this is an indication that we could see Xiaomi devices available on Amazon in the US as well.

Pocophone F1 will likely get updated to at least Android Q

Despite not being officially available in the United States, the Pocophone F1 offers unbelievable value from a product so inexpensive. The software updates are often the first thing to be neglected on inexpensive phones such as this, but confirmation has come direct from Xiaomi that the device will receive updates at least until Android Q.
