Here’s what LeEco’s EUI looks like on the new Le Pro3 smartphone [Gallery]

Last week LeEco announced that the Le Pro3 would be the company’s first flagship to come to the US market. As the phone does not go on sale until November 2 in LeEco’s online store, LeMall, we wanted to share a quick gallery of the brand new Ecosystem User Interface (EUI) and some of the stock applications that come preinstalled on the handset…

The LeEco Le Pro3 in the United States comes running a 5.5″ 1080p display, 4GB of RAM, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 CPU (same as the Google Pixel), a 4070mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0 technology, 16MP read-facing camera, 8MP front-facing camera, a USB type-C port, IR sensor, and a fingerprint sensor. And yes, it is lacking a 3.5mm headphone jack but a USB-C to 3.5mm adaptor is available in the box.

Right off the bat, the Le Pro3 feels like a premium device with its completely metal build. Design wise, it looks very similar to the OnePlus 3 except for the fingerprint sensor being located on the back of the device. Around the front, though, the navigation keys are actually capacitive buttons found below the screen — impossible to see when not illuminated.

The biggest takeaway with LeEco’s new EUI is the company’s focus on consumable content. Instead of having an app drawer button, the company has placed a shortcut to LeEco Live which is their video streaming service available to users for free. Also available is LeView which is a news and web content aggregate application which can be found left of the home screen much like Google Now is found on Nexus devices.

We will have a full review out soon of the LeEco Le Pro3 but until then enjoy the gallery below showcasing EUI and some of LeEco’s stock applications.
