T-Mobile will offer up to half the cost of a Pixel to anyone who brings their Pixel to its network

Well, this was unexpected. After teasing a big announcement last night, T-Mobile has today revealed that it has a giant offer available for Pixel owners. Bring your device to T-Mobile, and you can get up to half its cost refunded via service credits…

While T-Mobile still won’t offer the Pixel in stores, it will give any Pixel customers a credit of $13.55 taken off of their bill each month for 24 months, adding up to a grand total of $325, otherwise known as half the cost of the 32GB 5-inch Pixel. In the words of T-Mobile, more likely, John Legere himself, “that’s not just powerful, it’s bring-your-own-Pixel powerful.” Further, Legere had the following to say regarding the deal.

Don’t let the ‘exclusive’ advertisements fool you, the Pixel phone is tested and proven to be fantastic on our lightning fast network, and we want to help you get the best of both worlds! I’m a huge fan of what Google has done with the Pixel and now consumers can use it the way it should be used – with truly unlimited data on the fastest 4G LTE network in America!

What’s the catch? There really isn’t anything big. The credit is automatically applied when you activate a Pixel (of any variant) on T-Mobile’s network and show T-Mobile your proof of purchase through its validation website.
