Fresh Galaxy Note 7 leaks show our clearest look yet, its iris scanner in action [Video]

Just two weeks ahead of its official launch, Galaxy Note 7 leaks are coming faster than ever, revealing more and more details about the phone. Today we’ve got a brand new image of the device in one of the clearest leaks to date along with a new video showing off the iris scanner in action.

First things first, let’s talk about that new picture seen above. We’ve seen several renders and images of the Note 7 so far, but this latest shot is by far the most detailed. This “Black Onyx” variant of the Note 7 remains true to the leaks with a curved display, always-on mode, and both the front facing camera and iris scanner flanking the earpiece.

Further, we’ve also got a new look at that long-rumored iris scanner. In a video on Weibo we see a user turn on the phone, swipe to unlock, and unlock the device with his eyes. This matches up closely with previous leaks which showed the same functionality in images.

Interestingly the video shows a non-curved version of the Note 7. It’s all but confirmed that we’ll only get a curved version of the phone, but despite that it’s been reported the Samsung did have working prototypes of the flat version as we can see here.

As mentioned earlier we’re only a couple weeks out from the official Galaxy Note 7 announcement, so stay tuned as we’ll be here to cover all the details!
