Samsung rumored to launch Galaxy Tab S3 on September 1

The Android tablet market has been very quiet over past several months with few devices truly deserving any attention. One of those devices however was last year’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. With solid specifications, fantastic build quality, and a software experience to match, it’s been one of the best high-end Android tablets on the market for a while, but as we enter the second half of 2016 we’re due for a successor.

Today a well known tech journalist from Russia, Eldar Murtazin, has stated that Samsung should be releasing the Galaxy Tab S3 on September 1st. He neglected to point toward any sources or leaks to back this up, however the launch date would make sense looking at the release date of last year’s model.

So far all we’ve heard regarding the Tab S3 is that it’s set to include a design similar to the Tab S2, but with upgrades in the processor and software. It’s very likely that this will end up being Samsung’s first tablet with Android Nougat running out of the box.

Obviously we don’t have much to go on just yet regarding the Tab S3, but stay tuned as we should hear more over the coming weeks if this September 1st launch date is to be believed, but I wouldn’t place any bets just yet.
