Here are the first photo samples shot on the upcoming OnePlus 3

OnePlus is set to announce the OnePlus 3 next week, and ahead of the launch we already know a lot about the device. As for its key specs, the phone will reportedly have a 5.5-inch 1080p display, Snapdragon 820, and up to 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM. And as for the camera situation, the OnePlus 3 will pack a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.

It’s looking pretty good, and now the company’s CEO has shared the first shots from the upcoming device (Weibo via Phandroid).

Three shots were taken with the 16MP rear camera, with EXIF data confirming the resolution. So far, everything looks pretty solid, granted we don’t know the situation in which each photo was taken and these are effectively for marketing. The 8MP shot from the front facing camera also looks good, especially considering it looks as though it was taken in a dark room where smartphone cameras are typically particularly weak.

The OnePlus 3 official unveiling is happening on June 14 (or June 15 in China) through “Loop,” OnePlus’ virtual reality space expressly built to step up the VR launch game (already proposed last year) and offer the “first VR shopping experience” in the world.
