Big Android BBQ coming to Amsterdam, Netherlands in November

The Big Android BBQ is one of the biggest Android developer events of the year, and now it’s coming to Europe. Thanks an announcement over at the new Big Android BBQ Netherlands website, we know that Big Android BBQ Europe is set to take place in Amsterdam from the 12th to the 14th of November 2015…

As is the case with the regular ol’ Texas-based BBQ, the event features sessions run by some of the most knowledgable people the field, challenges, and — of course — some great food.  Recently, IDEAA announced that Google Developers had officially gotten on board to team up with IDEAA to make the event better than ever, and it looks like that applies to the Europe event too.

The annual Big Android BBQ in Texas is scheduled to take place October 22nd and 23rd 2015 in Hurst, Texas. You can order tickets for the event on Eventbrite now, and we’ll be there to make friends, eat some food, and have some healthy Android and tech-related discourse. It should be a good time. Sadly, we won’t make it to the first-ever event in Europe.

Calling all European Android Developers: Learn ‘tricks of the trade’ from thought leaders and senior developers in mouthwatering sessions and get your hands greasy with your newly acquired skills in the Code Kitchen. End each evening with fellow developers and sponsors at exciting networking sessions filled with satisfying meals and frosty beverages.

There will be plenty of possibilities to learn new stuff and connect to people. These are some of the main topics that we’re going to focus on in the program:

– Hardcore Android (Android programming, cool libraries and frameworks, testing, building)
– Android & Things (Internet of Things, Wearables, embedded)
– Android & Humans (Graphical and interaction design)
– World of Android (World changing idea’s and technologies. Android Auto / Med Tech / Anything goes)
