Fortune‘s annual survey of the 100 best companies to work for found that Google topped the list for the third year running, and the fifth time in all.

The survey works by asking more than a quarter of a million randomly-selected employees in 257 companies across 45 countries. Two-thirds of the scores are allocated based on answers to questions about management credibility, job satisfaction and camaraderie, with the remaining third based on an evaluation of the companies’ hiring practices, methods of internal communication, training, recognition programs and diversity efforts.
