CyanogenMod hits 10 million total installs as it moves toward legitimacy

The CyanogenMod team has a whole lot to celebrate in the last two weeks with a new round of funding, CTS certification of the Oppo N1 and now a total of 10 million CM installs. According to the company/team’s CM website, the Android modification hit more than 10,000,000 downloads in the last few days.

CyanogenMod has been at the front of the Android modding community ever since the first CM rolled off the software line. From the original Galaxy S all the way up to the current Android lineup on shelves, CyanogenMod has worked to make our smartphone experience just a tiny bit better.

Whether its TouchWiz you’d rather be rid of or perhaps just want to enhance your smartphones capabilities, CyanogenMod has been there to see that it’s possible.

The CM team is on fire and it should be interesting to see where they go next.
