First demoed during its I/O conference back in May, Google has been making its new Google Maps web app available to users on an invite only basis. Today, Google has opened up the service to all by allowing users to try out the redesigned maps through a sign up on its website.

Users will have to opt in to switch to the new Maps, but no longer will you have to wait to receive an invite email from Google. Head over to https://www.google.com/maps/preview to try it out now.
