Sony announces Xperia Arc S with 1.4GHz processor and panoramic 3D features

In a still developing story from IFA (via This is my next), Sony has officially unveiled the successor to their Xperia arc, dubbed the Xperia Arc S. We don’t know a whole lot as of right now, but the company announced the device will sport a 1.4GHz processor, display with “Bravia engine”, and a “3D sweep panorama” feature capable of capturing 3D panoramic image and outputting them over HDMI to your 3D TV. Look for it sometime in October.
