PSA: LG V20 isn’t coming to Europe (yet), here’s what we know

Earlier this week LG officially unveiled the all new LG V20, and it’s impressive. It brings a new all-metal design, Android Nougat out of the box, a removable back, dual-cameras, and much more. LG definitely has a (potential) winner on its hands, but the company isn’t doing itself any favors with availability on the device…

Just the other day an online retailer claimed to have word from LG that the V20 wasn’t coming to the UK. A Reddit user also claimed a few days ago that LG’s Belgian PR confirmed that the phone wouldn’t be coming to Europe at all. So we decided to get in touch with LG to confirm what was going on.

LG confirmed to us that the initial launch markets for the V20 includes North America, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The initial launch of V20 only involves markets in North America, Asia, the Middle East and Africa.

Whether the V20 will be offered in other regions is still undecided. At this time, UK retailers are still uncommitted.

So for now, the LG V20 isn’t coming to the UK or Europe as a whole. LG says that it hasn’t decided yet if the device will be available in further regions and apparently UK retailers haven’t committed to offering the device either. This could change over time, but at launch, the V20 won’t be coming to Europe, although you’ll probably be able to get it imported from third-party retailers.
