Inbox update brings shareable Travel bundles and updated photo attachment picker

Inbox, Google’s smart assistant-heavy email client, is getting updated with new features for sharing travel plans and an easier way to attach photos to emails.

Trip bundles are a very popular feature of Inbox that gives you a summary of your itinerary based on the dates and times in emails you have received. Now, you will be able to share this trip bundle to friends and family. Users will be able to attach emails to a trip, for things that Inbox might not have picked up. There is also a feature to keep trip bundles offline for when you don’t have internet access.

Also being updated is an easier way to attach photos. The new photo picker is similar to the one found in Hangouts and allows for easier attaching of multiple photos, as well as a quick shortcut to jump to the camera.

This update will be rolling out to Android and iOS over the next week in time for holiday travels.
