Leaked photos purportedly show Sony’s upcoming Xperia Z4 flagship (again)

We first saw renders of the Xperia Z4 early last month, and now a new image has popped up on the Internet via @onleaks showing the same device in a different color. We previously saw an all-white phone with what appeared to be aluminum bezels, but now we have our eyes on the black variant of Sony’s upcoming flagship.

As I noted last month, these renders seem to line up pretty well with the Xperia Z4 tablet that Sony launched in early March, leading me to believe that they’re probably legitimate. To add to that, Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowhereelse.fr is the person behind @onleaks, and he has a pretty decent track record.

A benchmark of the Xperia Z4 supposedly leaked in late March, detailing a phone with a 5.1-inch 1080p display, a 19-megapixel back shooter, a 4.8-megapixel front camera, and the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 system-on-a-chip with Adreno 430 graphics. As for software, the phone will ship with Android Lollipop 5.0.2.

There’s no word yet on when the device will be officially announced, but considering the leaks have been a steady flow for the last month or so, we’re probably nearing the unveiling. For now, feel free to check out the phone in more detail as seen in the renders that leaked last month:
