Target, Walmart and Best Buy Black Friday ads offer up Android smartphone deals

Ah yes, winter is in the air and along with it the promise of Black Friday shopping deals. I’ll just get right to it and say if you’re in the market for a Galaxy S 4…you should hold off and take a look at the Walmart and Target deals coming up in a little under two weeks.

Walmart is offering up a nice treat with a $100 Walmart gift card available with the purchase of select smartphones:

  • Galaxy S 4: $99 on contract with AT&T, Sprint and Verizon
  • Moto X: $49.99 on Verizon, Sprint and AT&T
  • Galaxy Mega: $79 on AT&T

Best Buy isn’t going all out with Android this year but they will be offering the HTC One in their exclusive metallic blue color for $29.99 on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T. The retailer is also dropping the price of a Chromecast HDMI streaming media adapter to $29.99, a savings of $5.01. Target rounds out the trifecta of Black Friday smartphone deals this morning and will offer the Galaxy S 4 on AT&T and Verizon for $39.99, and on Sprint for $49.99. Needless to say, purchasing a Galaxy S 4 smartphone between now and Black Friday seems like a pretty poor idea, especially if the best deal you can find isn’t under $100 on contract.
